Hello there!
You might be wondering why you should be reading another blog and what you will get from it. I’ll give you two reasons to keep reading:
One: This blog is about sports social media. A topic I know very well. I have worked in sports social media since 2013. Worked for Fortune 500 companies like Turner Sports, Bleacher Report and the NFL. My experience gives me unique insight into what athletes, brands, companies and others in the sports world are doing right, wrong and how they could improve their social media presence and output. Sports social media is cool and I’ll explain why through blogs each week.
I even wrote a book on the subject called “The Evolution of Sports Social Media.” Go to Amazon, Barnes and Noble and any other book website to get your copy today.
Okay enough with the shameless plug.
Two: I have a writing background. I wanted to be a writer since I was 12 years old, when I picked up the first Los Angeles Times newspaper from my driveway. I would read the sports section and get infatuated by some of the top sports writers in the country. I took my passion of writing to Indiana University, where I majored in Journalism and wrote for the school newspaper’s sports section for four years.
The writing experience I gained over the years gives me a unique writing style for this blog. My writing style will be writing to you and not at you. I am passionate about the subject and won’t hold back on my opinions. I will be honest about sports social media from my perspective. You might not always agree with my opinions, but we can always have a healthy discussion about any topic I discuss.
If you have any questions, comments or anything else on your mind, feel free to email me at [email protected].
What’s next?
Fasten your seatbelt, put on your reading glasses and enjoy the ride!
Best, Aaron Eisman
